Daily Steps On Our Road to Recovery for 13 to 17 December 1999.

Judgments

I wince when I hear someone call themselves stupid

with emphasis, when they make a mistake. I know that

over time, their judgment will come on them. I wince

when I hear someone call someone else stupid with

emphasis when they make a mistake. I know that over

time, their judgment will come upon them. Unless of

course, they learn some of the ways of forgiveness,

acceptance, consciousness expansion and teamworking.

Just as our negative judgments come upon us, so do

our positive judgments. When we declare with emphasis

that we are intelligent, that judgment will come upon us

over time. When we say to ourselves that we are growing

in inner health, wealth and happiness, that judgment also

takes place over time. When we say to ourselves, more

than our negative sayings, that we are growing in inner

peace, joy and wisdom, that too takes place over time.

And, so do the negatives.

Feelings

There is a song about feelings. There is a lot of truth

in feelings. They are a reality at the physical level. Right

now I am going through a physical challenge. And, I am

still going deeper into my feelings, just like I would with

a spiritual, mental or emotional challenge.

Homeopathy works by intensifying our symptoms,

that is what we are feeling and experiencing at the physical

level. That is why accepting our feelings with gratitude, is

of assistance in our healing processes. Our feelings are our

royal road home.

Good News

The good news is that my physical challenge is gone.

My doctor said that there is absolutely nothing now to be

concerned about. The other good news is that I am more

aware of myself deeper all the time. Physical challenges

can be our wake up calls, that can be their blessing in

disguise. So, this blessing is serving as a reminder to do

wiser preventative habits. So, this blessing is serving

as a reminder to continue to go deeper into myself and

the spirit of the lord most high within.

God Makes Sense

Prayer is not about asking for anything. Real prayer is

communion and communication with God. God knows the

level we are at. God communicates at that level and helps

us grow into higher and deeper levels. What God communicates

to us at the level we are at, makes sense to us at that level. When

we grow up some more, we will see and hear and intuit more and

that will again make sense. We may even be amused at what used

to make sense.

Neal Donald Walsch has written several books about his

conversations with God, at the levels he has been at. That is

why all conversations with God do not agree, except at an

essence level.

Might we talk with a lower level of God that was negative

and pessimistic. Of course, when we are at that level. You know

the stories of the Dragon in the Cave that is in the way of us finding

the Treasure in the Cave. That is why finding the true God is a

never ending process, not an event. The race goes to those that

endure for the long haul.

a blast.

Reality

Reality is what reality is. We really can not change that.

We really can not deny that. We can try to deny what reality

is, but that doesn not change reality. We have what we have

consciously and unconsciously asked for and have created

by our actions, prayer, thinking, and fears.

The good news is that reality is what reality is. The

other good news is that we can recreate our realities to

something better. Reallity tells us what we have created

so far. So, that is why it is wise to thank God for giving

us what we have asked for so far and ask what would be

wiser to create now.

I started my daily page, because it is useful for me to look for some recovery tip or secret each day for my spiritual growth. we and I only need one secret to work on and let it work on me each day. They are secrets because they are usually the opposite of what the majority of society teaches. They must be secret because they are not commonly used. A friend of mine once said "Common Sense is not much in Common.". Now that I have grandchildren I am also writing for them. I would have really liked for my grandparents to have passed on what they learned.
