The Good Life is recovery from Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Now we are to the symptom of a "belief that personal uniqueness renders them fit only for association with and or understanding by people or institutions of rarefied status".  Some of us are in cliques, sometimes.  Some of us are in cults, sometimes.  And I do not mean cults like understood by most, I mean generic cults that try to control how you think.  Some churches, businesses, families, etc. are like that.

This belief in personal uniqueness that requires unique groups to associate with ,can effect any of us to some degree.  The amount of recover required, is determined by the degree, of our beliefs.  When we believe we are a chief, and can only associate with chiefs, or we believe we are an indian, and can only associate with other indians, our beliefs are in question.

The truth is that we are all chiefs, and we are all equal.  So that makes us all indians, that are all equal.  When we do not get this, we have some degree of the madness of an egotist, otherwise known as the narcissistic personality disorder.

A generic cure is to be forgiving ourself for judging others for all the names we call them.  Self forgiveness is not needed as much in this extremes of this madness, because then we have conned ourself into believing we are already more righteous than we need to be, or something like that.

Just get over it.  We are all spiritually equal.  Forgiving all the names of egos heals egos and transforms them for readiness to accept the lord most high within.

The Good Life is recovery from Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Our Last Ignorant King

Once upon a time, there was a large rich kingdom, that gave

some of its gold each year, for many years, by many ignorant

kings, to a small rich kingdom, far away. They all did so through

their ignorance, to support the continuing establishment, of their

favored religions. Their anger made them ignorant, of what they

were doing.

Next door, to the small rich kingdom, was a very poor kingdom,

made up of those that lost the war, for the rich kingdom. The

inhabitants, of the small poor kingdom, were very angry.

They were so angry, that they sometimes blew themselves

up, to kill people in the small rich kingdom. Their anger made

them ignorant.

Others, that were also angry, about the gold going only to

the small rich kingdom, instead of the small poor kingdom,

blew themselves up, to kill people in the large rich

kingdom that gave their gold. Their anger made them ignorant.

The last ignorant king, of the large rich kingdom, said that

the king of the small very poor kingdom, should stop his

people, from blowing themselves up. Of course, the last

ignorant king, of the large rich kingdom, with all his

power and riches, could not stop those that blew themselves

up in his kingdom. The last ignorant king could not even stop

a couple of his own ignorant snipers, in his own capital. How

could the last ignorant king, of the large rich kingdom, expect

the king, of the very poor small kingdom, with little gold or

power, to stop his very angry people from blowing themselves

up?

The last ignorant king, of the large rich kingdom, laid out a

timetable, for the small kingdoms, to settle their anger, and

become peaceful kingdoms. But, the last ignorant king, of

the large rich kingdom, had a foolish condition for the small

very poor kingdom. The last ignorant king, said that they would

have to stop their very angry people, from blowing themselves

up, even thought the last ignorant king, of the large rich kingdom,

could not stop his own internal violence.

When would the ignorant king, of the large rich kingdom,

wake up from the spell, put on him by the God of Arrogant

Self Righteousness and War?

When would the ignorant king, of the large rich kingdom

apologize for his kingdom's many years of mistaken one sided

support, of the small rich kingdom, over the small very poor

kingdom?

When would he support both small kingdoms, to rebuild for

peace, on their own timetable?

Can you imagine, the flood of support, from the rest of his world,

when he does?

Ask the lord most high, of your inner kingdom, "How can I help awaken,

our last ignorant king, and his supporters, from the spell put upon them,

by the God of Arrogant Self Righteous, and War?"

Ask the lord most high, of your inner kingdom, each day, "What can I do,

today?"

The Good Life is recovery from Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

The next symptom for egotism, NPD, is a "Need for excessive admiration."

The key word here is excessive, because we all have some need for some admiration.  The joke is, that the only real admiration we really need, is our own.  Those that need excessive admiration, have so little of their own.  The other joke is, that we all have more admiration than we need ,from our lord most high within.

How can we learn to give ourselves healthy admiration?  One way is to ask our lord most high within that question.  What answers do you get?

The Good Life is recovery from Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

"A sense of entitlement where they unreasonably expect favorable treatment or automatic granting of wishes." is the next symptom.  Sort of sounds like a spoiled kid, does it not?  Know any politicians like that?

The joke is that we are granted our wishes.  The problem is that our unconscious is doing part of our wishing.  So, the solution involves clearing our unconscious, so that our conscious is more conscious and rational.  When we are rational we realize that everyone votes, since they are all getting their wishes also.  The only way to get real favored treatment is to surrender our will to the lord most high within.  The paradox then is that we then work for the highest good of all concerned.

Respectfully presented,

Michael

Directory of Directories & Lists

I am continuing a Directory of Directories.  Please tell me your favorites.

Leadership

I am starting a page on leadership.  My first link is to some articles by

Steven Covey.  His book is in my recommended books library.

When you would like a free rare newsletter with coach's hints on a single subject, click RBD's Free Monthly Newsletter Registration Form.

A daily hint has published each day since June 1996.  This is past my fifth year anniversary, since starting my web pages.  I started my daily page, because it is useful for me to look for some recovery tip or secret each day for my spiritual growth. we and I only need one secret to work on and let it work on us each day.  They are secrets because they are usually the opposite of what the majority of society teaches.  They must be secret because they are not commonly used.  A friend of mine once said "Common Sense is not much in Common.".  Now that I have grandchildren I am also writing for them.  I would have really liked for my grandparents and my parents to have passed on more of what they learned.

What is happening now?

I now have completed my second copy of my two CDROM's, full of free programs, for my college class.  I am sending my current version, to anyone that sends me $7.
