Daily Steps On Our Road to Recovery for 10 to 14 January 2000.
Published Last Week. A daily hint published each day since June 1996. This is past my third year anniversary since starting my web pages. Page Down for the next days that are added a day at a time. I have moved to http://www.recoverybydiscovery.com and this daily page is now here at daily.htm . I would appreciate any feedback, questions and suggestions that you have.

What separates us from God, from our perspective?
Our anxieties, our upsets and our rages. Both conscious
and unconscious anxieties and upsets and rages separate us
from our perceptions of God. The amount of our perceived
separations are proportional to the amount of energy we have
tied up in our anger, rage, anxiety, emotional upset.

What can we do to get closer to God?
We can see from the above answer that when we resolve
any of our anger, rage, anxiety and emotional upsets, we get
closer to God. Remember, FACTS? Forgiving, Accepting and
Asserting, Consciousness expanding, Thanksgiving and Teamworking,
Seeing and Hearing What IS. All of these help resolve our upsets
into healing spiritual energy. Of course, we are not ready to resolve
our rages until we have learned to resolve our lower energy upsets.
It is wisest to start with our anxieties, then our emotional upsets,
then our angers and then our rages.

Why am I taking a day off?
Because it is my birthday and the day after the birthday of my
daughter. See you all tomorrow.

What is the miracle question?
A miracle question is: When a miracle happens each night,
What would be different about each of your days?
This question helps us focus on the miracles that are all
around us. This question helps us see the gifts from people
that God sends our way. This question helps us find our
treasures that are put around us each day. This question
helps us find the treasures that were put around us in the past.

What is the miracle today?
Every thing.
What can we do to become aware of our spirit?
One can do like children and just whirl around
until they drop to the ground. Then they feel the
difference between them and their spirit whirling
through them. There is a series of exercises that
came from a story of a British traveler to Tibet
where he was given 5 exercises that changed his
life to longer and better. The first exercise was
to whirl for a while. The Whirling Dervishes use
whirling to reach an ecstatic state. Just another way
to be in prayer. After all, prayer is communion with
spirit, not begging. We are not beggars. We are
princes and princesses of our realm in disguise.
Very Respectfully,

I started my daily page, because it is useful for me to look for some recovery tip or secret each day for my spiritual growth. we and I only need one secret to work on and let it work on me each day. They are secrets because they are usually the opposite of what the majority of society teaches. They must be secret because they are not commonly used. A friend of mine once said "Common Sense is not much in Common.". Now that I have grandchildren I am also writing for them. I would have really liked for my grandparents to have passed on what they learned.
I am including Sunday as it is my formal day of learning the lord
most high's secrets. If you would like ask questions, or contribute
some of your wisdom, or want to make some comments or want to vote for which
day to put on my tip of the month page or tell your success stories, click
