RBD's Recovery Coach's Hints for Fellow Travelers on The Road to Recovery for 30 Mar to 5 Apr 98.
Page Down for the next days that are added a day at a time.
I am in the process of moving to https://www.recoverybydiscovery.com and I would appreciate any feedback and suggestions that you have, to proof out my new site.

This week I am presenting my presentation on how to pray effectively for each of the four basic personality types. At least that is how I started out.
Without any further introduction here is the opening slide 1, Effective Prayer for Personality Types" and an introduction slide 2, "The Four Temperaments", to the four basic personality types.
You are free to get ahead when you want to and free to check in each day as our presentation evolves. That is the evolution process where each time I look at what I have done, I improve it with what I know that time.

Slide 3, "Inner Projections", and slide 4, "Generic Names to Own", start looking at projections. We need to consider both positive and negative projections. It is best to consider our positive projections first so that when we own our positive aspects it is easier to own our negative.
The letters on slide 3 come from "D" for "Dominating", "I" for "Influencing", "S" for "Steadying" and "C" for "Cautioning" that are on slide 2.
Tomorrow, more on projections.

April Fools Day. The only fooling we do is fooling ourselves. We are fooling ourselves that we are less than we are.
Slide 5, "Core & Projections", is showing a representation of two people. They both have an inner core of white. They both have a part that they are not aware of yet shown in shades of grey. They both have a personality color shown in shades of color.
They are both fooling themselves in thinking that they are not whole. That is the joke we are playing on ourselves on April's Fools Day and the rest of the year.
Perhaps you are beginning to guess why it does not matter what personality type you are.
2 Apr 98
On slide 3, "Inner Projections", we saw our inner consciousness of our inner four basic types. On slide 6, "The Whole Person", we get to see our inner projections added to our outer projections of the four basic types on others. I know that this is going fast, but sometimes it is easier to get that way.
When we are looking out, we are looking through the conscious parts of our four basic types. When we are looking in, we are looking through the unconscious parts of our four basic types and projecting that out on our world.

What is keeping us from seeing our whole self?
Our judgments are one thing that is putting a filter on what we see.
How can we drop our filters on what we see?
One way is to begin to forgive ourselves for the names we call others and ourselves!
Today's slide 7, "Generic Names to Forgive", has some generic names we call ourselves and others. I have confidence that we can find many more names to call others and ourselves. These names would be a great place to start your forgiveness career.
Tomorrow we will look at a formula for forgiveness that works when you work it.
4 Apr 98
I am sure that you have seen this slide 8, "Gift From God = Forgiveness", when you have looked down my daily page. This is one formula that I know works when you work it. It is not the only way. It is a wise way to start. It is a way to learn more ways as more is cleared up.
Slide 9, "Challenges for each type", is about the challenges that each of the basic sub types faces:
The Warrior's challenge is facing War.
The Wizard's challenge is facing Wrong.
The Worker's challenge is facing Work.
The Worrier's challenge is facing Worry.
There are victories for each basic sub type:
There is Protection from the Warrior.
There is Peace from the Wizard.
There is Productivity from the Worker.
There is Proactivity from the Worrier.

Slide 10, "Gifts from each type", is about our gifts from each type.
Just like there are basic challenges for each type, there are basic gifts for each type.
We all can experience our gift of SECURITY that brings COMFORT.
We all can experience our gift of SUCCESS that brings PEACE.
We all can experience our gift of SERVICE that brings JOY.
We all can experience our gift of SACRIFICE that brings CREATIVITY.
We all have the potential of becoming a growing gifted servant of our lord most high within.
6 Apr 98
With Slide 11, "The Four Temperaments", I am summarizing the four types and their gifts.
Our spiritual gifts are related to the gifts we give.
May we all have an improving week next week and a improving day today.

I started my daily page, because it is useful for me to look for some recovery tip or secret each day for my spiritual growth. we and I only need one secret to work on and let it work on me each day. They are secrets because they are usually the opposite of what the majority of society teaches. They must be secret because they are not commonly used. A friend of mine once said "Common Sense is not much in Common.". Now that I have grandchildren I am also writing for them. I would have really liked for my grandparents to have passed on what they learned.
I am including Sunday as it is my formal day of learning the lord most high's secrets. If you would like ask questions, or contribute some of your wisdom, or want to make some comments or want to vote for which day to put on my tip of the month page or tell your success stories, click Michael Foster, M.
