17 April 2000 +

We are still moving in our new home.  I am now working towards putting my daily writings on http://www.ThemeStream.com. Today's article on "Prayer" is at:

http://www.themestream.com/gspd_browse/browse/view_article.gsp?c_id=45673.

I am also working towards rewriting much of the material here each day and moving it to http://www.ThemeStream.com.  There will be less new articles for a while as I complete my moving processes.

Published  Last Week.  A daily hint published each day since June 1996.  This is past my third year anniversary since starting my web pages.  Page Down for the next days that are added a day at a time.  I have moved to http://www.recoverybydiscovery.com  and this daily page is now here at daily.htm .  I would appreciate any feedback, questions and suggestions that you have.

What is happening today?

We, my wife and I, are still on our break today.  We are still in

that moving state of mind.

28 March 2000

What is happening today?

We are still in a moving state of mind.  A good state to stay in,

to be considering what we want to be in our future.  A good state

to simplify things from.  What if we all considered what we wanted

to do when we were planning to move on in three years?

7 April 2000

We will be working on moving until the end of this week and next week.  So, I will resume writing daily next week, 17 April 00.

We now have our upper story of our new ranch home looking like it is relatively complete.  My basement office and our garage and our storage areas are about half done.  My wife's craft room has just started.  So, I will continue to be somewhat busy on the physical plane, for a while.  My new article is at:

http://www.themestream.com/gspd_browse/browse/view_article.gsp?c_id=53586 on "Abortion, Time To Heal This Issue?"

15 May 2000

I estimated it could take three months to move into our new home.  I appear to be accurate and my wife's estimate of staying up until it was done has not proved to be accurate.  In the same way, healing is a process and not an event just like moving in is a process and not an event.  It does not matter when it is mental healing or when it is physical healing.  It can be easier to change our mind than our body, but both take time.  The physical level takes even more time than the mental level.  It can take little time on the physical level, but that is usually painful.  The less time, the more pain.

I watched the first part of "Jesus" on TV and was impressed by some of what was done.  Jesus said he was "son of man" more than he said he was "son of God" in the Bible. They showed his human side, with his dancing and joyful side and human problems.   Then, they showed him healing a crippled man's legs with much pain involved and that will help.  Healing sometimes works that way and sometimes with heat, sometimes with tingling, sometimes with laughter and tears, sometimes with ...  There is a part of us that knows these truths.  There are also many that will be looking for the letter of the law in the Bible.  The legalist and pharisees of today that stand in need of going directly to God and asking how to meet the true Jesus.

18 and 19 May 2000

We have a new address.  It will take some time to change all the pages here for our new address.  Our address is , .  Our new phone number is phone.

I read a new book recently and met the author.  Her book is about discerning guidance from our lord most high within.  Here is my review I am putting in my bookstore:

One of the most valuable skills we can learn is to discern what is guidance from our lord most high within and what is not, that is what is from our own ego.  One way to learn this skill is the be around someone who has experienced some of this skill.  Another way is to read something from someone who has some level of experiencing this skill.  That is why I am recommending this book, "Is That You, Lord?: Practical Methods for Learning Spiritual Discernment"  Her book is written in practical, everyday terms.  That is why it is so valuable.  Bobbie writes with honesty and writes of many of her experiences and the experiences of those she knows.  You will be able to relate to the subject of discernment with discernment because of Bobbie's contribution.

22 & 23 May 2000

Another valuable set of skills we can learn are to find our fountain of youth within, our lord most high within.  There is another book from our bookstore that I am suggesting will be a blessing.  I will be a blessing when you intend to find your lord most high within.  I will be a blessing in disguise when you only want to find your youth.  That book is: Ancient Secret of the FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH by Peter Kelder.  This short book has changed the lives of many.  Perhaps you might be interested in joining them.  Other books on spirit like this are here

Why not shop at home first?

There are getting to be more ad supported Internet to Regular Phone "free" services.  Some examples are here.  Why am I interested in the free things first?

When we moved, we found we had a lot of things that we did not know we had.  We just put up some shelves in our basement to organize some of our things.  We plan to shop in our own things, before we go shopping for new things.

The same thing applies to shopping for help.  We can start by asking our own lord most high within.  Our lord most high within may refer us to someone else, but that is entirely different.  Then we are still using our own resources first.  Then we are still responsible for our own results.  When we delegate part of our process for our recovery, we can not delegate our ultimate responsibility.

I started my daily page, because it is useful for me to look for some recovery tip or secret each day for my spiritual growth. we and I only need one secret to work on and let it work on me each day.  They are secrets because they are usually the opposite of what the majority of society teaches.  They must be secret because they are not commonly used.  A friend of mine once said "Common Sense is not much in Common.".  Now that I have grandchildren I am also writing for them.  I would have really liked for my grandparents to have passed on what they learned.
