Daily Steps On Our Road to Recovery for 18 to 23 September 2000

Published Last Week. A daily hint has published each day since June 1996 except recently. This is past my forth year anniversary, since starting my web pages. Page Down for the next days that are added a day at a time. I appreciate any feedback, questions and suggestions that you have.

Healing By Feeling

Healing By Feeling, is like Recovery By Discovery.

It is through recovering our feeling, that we discover

our resources for our recovery. Recovering our feeings is

a never ending process. Recovering our feelings is helped,

by being in gratitude even when our feeling hurt, when we

are in pain. I know that this in not easy, to feel our pain, to

let our pain heal us. I know the concept of loving illness,

our pain, is difficult. I am just suggesting that it is less difficult

than the consequences of the alternative, hating.

There is nothing wrong with only feeling part of our pain,

using things like aspirin wisely is fine. Even stronger things

when we are in more pain. But even then, we can be doing

our recovery work by loving all the feelings that are left,

until we have healed of our larger pains.

Generic Spirituality

Generic Spirituality is not a religion. But, Generic Spirituality

can be part of any religion. Generic Spirituality is about our personal

relationship, to our spirit, and our spirit's connection to our total

spirit. Generic Spirituality can pray, but its prayer is Radical Prayer.

Generic Spirituality can forgive, but its forgiveness is Radical

Forgiveness. Generic Spirituality does not oppose any religion.

Generic Spirituality can talk about what is not wise, of lower

levels in any religion. Generic Spirituality is looking for what ever

supports Generic Spirituality and then it supports that. What ever

is for Generic Spirituality, is for Generic Spirituality. It does not

matter what level that the Generic Spirituality is at. That is because

we have to grow from where we are...

I started my daily page, because it is useful for me to look for some recovery tip or secret each day for my spiritual growth. we and I only need one secret to work on and let it work on me each day. They are secrets because they are usually the opposite of what the majority of society teaches. They must be secret because they are not commonly used. A friend of mine once said "Common Sense is not much in Common.". Now that I have grandchildren I am also writing for them. I would have really liked for my grandparents to have passed on what they learned.

What is happening now?

We have moved into our new home and I am now working towards putting my daily writings on http://www.ThemeStream.com. There was less new articles here for a while, as I completed my priority moving processes. I am also working towards rewriting much of the material here each day and moving it to http://www.ThemeStream.com. Examples are "Radical Prayer" and How to Recover, Because Of AND In Spite Of .
